Wind turbine maintenance

LCR was recently engaged by a renewable energy client to assist in maintenance works on a windfarm facility based in South Western Queensland.
LCR Group supplied an AC500-2 in superlift and luffing fly configuration to reach the required hook height.
Due to LCR’s planning expertise and experience in relocating large mobile cranes the team were able to complete the works package ahead of schedule resulting in further efficiencies for our partnered client. With the completion of this project, it furthers bolsters LCR’s supply capability and ever-expanding fleet to cater for the renewable energy sector.

Case studies
AC1000/9 First lift
The quick setup time resulted in LCR mobilising to site, performing the lift and demobilising from site over three nights.
Removal of walkway panels
LCR utilised a SCX–1500 crawler crane to provide ample capacity and the ability to track alongside the drydock.
Dam maintenance works
Maintenance works on Paradise Dam included the supply of multiple slew cranes over 100t capacity crewed both day and night on a 24/7 roster.
